For the kind of amount they charge, Leela kovalam is more worthy of a family stay at a slightly higher price

We recently stayed at Niraamaya Retreats Surya Samudra in Kovalam, and to say it was an incredible experience would be an understatement. From the moment we checked in to the second we left, absolutely everything about our stay was excellent. The location itself is spectacular, perched perfectly on a dramatic cliffside overlooking the Arabian Sea. The property beautifully integrates heritage Kerala architecture with modern luxury. Walking through the lush green pathways to our cottage felt like entering a private, peaceful paradise. Our room was immaculate, incredibly comfortable, and the signature open-air bathroom was an absolute highlight. The iconic cliffside infinity pool lived up to all the hype, offering breathtaking, unobstructed sunset views over the ocean. We also spent a lot of time down at the clean, quiet beach area which offered the perfect amount of privacy. What truly sets Niraamaya apart, however, is the impeccable hospitality. The staff members were warm, intuitive, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. Combined with the outstanding dining options at the restaurant and the deeply rejuvenating spa treatments, this retreat exceeded all our expectations. If you are looking for a top-tier luxury wellness escape in Kerala, look no further. We cannot wait to return!

The place is beautiful with access to a very clean beach. Then thats about it. For the price they charge the food is sub standard . The breakfast spread was not good , the bread i got was stale . The room is pretty small but the bathrooms are really good . The access to a beautiful beach is what I would say was the only highlight.
