    Clean hotel which is artfully decorated and with good service. The front office is helpful, the breakfast buffet is good - taste, spread, variety, quality. Good parking space with EV charging station as well. Quiet street with green canopy. Would recommend.

    The property is located nicely near the city center. It has a distinct aura. The furniture and decoration are largely wooden, which gives a great sense of aesthetics. Rooms are quite big, nice, and clean. The breakfast spread offers a wide variety of delicacies, especially idiyappam and mint paratha. Coffee is great (the filter coffee). There could be some improvement in the bedsheet, which could have been cleaner, but that's small nitpicking. Otherwise it's overall good.

    We had stayed in JC several years ago and absolutely loved it and decided to book this hotel again this year. Staff were polite and pleasant. However, sadly, service during the 2 days is a little disappointing. 1st day at breakfast, we were led to a table that was not properly cleaned and had to request 3 times before someone actually came to clean it. Staff seem to move at a leisurely pace to get things done - not sure whether they are unsure about what to do or not alert enough to respond to diner's needs. For laundry, we had indicated specifically on the laundry sheet a particular stain to be removed and also informed the guy who came to collect the items, but discovered later after the laundry was returned that the stain was still there. No calls given to tell us in advance that the stain cannot be removed, otherwise we would not have given the item for laundry. Similarly, ordered filter coffee for room service and it never came until we called again to enquire. Only then were we told there was no filter coffee only bru coffee. Staff communication and competency needs improvement. Parking not first come first served. Driver told to park the car at another facility because they give priority to parking for meetings and not to guests staying at the hotel. This is discriminatory practice.
