    There is no AC and no Fan so maybe in Summer there would be some discomfort

    We stayed at the Elgin Mount Pandim 3 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. The hotel is beautifully located, away from all the crowds, ideal for a laid back holiday. Not cheap but those looking for a relaxing holiday wouldn’t be disappointed. The only issue for us, being seniors, was the climb up to the restaurant for breakfast and other meals. I would suggest the management purchases a golf cart to ferry the guests up and down, which will solve this issue. Breakfast spread was pretty good and the a-la-carte menu is quite good too. Most importantly we got excellent views of the Kanchenjunga range right from our hotel windows. That alone makes it worthwhile

    The location of stay is beautiful. The rooms are sparkling clean. Bed is comfortable. Staff is very polite and their guidance is accurate. For dog lovers, there are 2-3 lovely dogs in the property and our daughter already missed them.

    Property is nice and situated in great location but not maintained as per 5 star standard. Basically it's a highly priced and very poorly maintained property. No hot water, no proper room heating system, stained bedsheets and pillows, very poor bathroom (worse than lodges in Chennai). Surprised to hear Oberoi's property in such a poor standard. Not even 10% of Oberoi standard at all. There is a restriction for hot water and they are saying it's to conserve water. Never heard only 35 litres hot water per room per day, it's so stupid to hear. How can you expect a tourist not to take bath after roaming around and coming or going out in the morning without bath?
