    We had a wonderful stay at the hotel Everest! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We especially appreciated (after a long bus ride) that we were shown the room straight away and they let us do the "C-form /check-in a bit later. So often the hotels let you stand there for "hours" with your full luggage on you. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. No complementary toiletries nor water. The location was convenient and peaceful, making it perfect for both rest and exploring nearby attractions. We loved the homely atmosphere and the personal care given to guests and into decoration! There are so many things to discover from wall paintings to local art displayed all around the house😍😍. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We would love to visit again! PS there is a lovely rooftop terrace with a restaurant. We can't rate the food as we didn't eat there😉. Prices are competitive with foreign catering restaurants close by.

    After exploring Pushkar a bit, I found that this location is not ideal - its in the middle of a sort of slum right next to the market - so that means you have to walk through the busy market every time to get anywhere. Pushkar has some nicer areas that are still walking distance from everything. The staff was OK but not very engaging or helpful. For example when I wanted to rent a bike, they said to just go to the market. Most locals will call someone for you or at least recommend you some place they know. The atmosphere at the location is pretty dead. Even though it was busy in Pushkar there was no social vibe at this venue and i did not meet anyone.
