The hotel was ok for what it’s worth compare to other hotels in Paris. Pros: -Bed was comfortable and could actually fit two person + the bed on the top of the double bed, so it could as well be a 3 - mans room. - Heater. Doesn’t come with aircon but for a cold winter month, opening the window is enough - Room gets cleaned everyday & new towels every time (though most times the bathroom & only one of the bed gets cleaned/ tidied.) It could be because we have a lot of stuff lying around but the floor wasn’t vacuumed. - Quiet. I am a light sleeper and asked for a courtyard view instead of the street. We were assigned on the 8th floor. Excellent view + quiet. I could hear door slamming & people talking in the hall but it was minimal to disturb my sleep. - Safe neighboorhood. A lot of bars, restaurants & bakery nearby. Never felt unsafe as a woman even at night. - Reception 24/7. One has to have a keycard to come inside the hotel. - Hot water. Cons - A little outside of city center. It takes about an hour to reach the touristic places - Shower leaking. It floods whenever I take a shower. Drains fast right after but had to be careful not to overflow it when I’m showering. - Tiny room. - Staff. There was a woman in the reception that wasn’t very approachable. She gave us just a glimpse when we were checking out, and when I asked where we could leave the luggages, she said yes when we left it in a corner but when we picked them up, luggages were moved and was told we couldn’t just leave it where we did. If only she showed us where. 💆🏻‍♀️ - Comes only with a shower gel. No hand soap. In general, it was good value for the money. Hotel comes with a TV, bed, table & chair.

The hotel is near Porte Italie de East metro or Choisy. The area is safe and very near the 13th arrondissement. Bakeries and Asian restaurants are very near. 3 groceries are also near the hotel. The room, however, is small. Cleaning stopped 2 days before we checked out. For 3 people, we have to move luggage. The heater is also not good. The toilet is like a Japanese toilet, so I was impressed. But as to a good stay, I recommend the hotel as there are 2 metros near it.
