    Check in was ok, although we were back & forth to the Campanile building, firstly to check in, then to ask the receptionist to activate our room key, then again to ask for something that resembled a pillow, to ask did the internet actually work & more importantly "what the hell was the foul BO smell in our room". The internet wasn't working and they had no idea when it would be fixed. I was to report back to reception at 21:45 that night so her colleague could get me 2 new pillows. And as for the foul BO, arm pit odour all I got was a shrug of the shoulders. However it got better as the evening went on were to BO smell was overtaken by cigarette smell. I'm not quite sure which was worse. Lucky enough we had transport, so we were able to nip out to the local Action shop and pick up air freshener. Reported to the night staff at 21:45 to have a language barrier debate about 2 pillows, I can't even call them extra due to the original pillows being no more than flat cushions! I was told to report back at 22:00, I arrived at 21:59 to have an angry French lady roll her eyes at me and provide me with 2 (kind of pillows) after I stood for 8-10 mins waiting. I appreciate (from what I can see) these staff run these places single handed, but that's no excuse to give shit customer service.
