    Firstly the hotel, had a lovely short stay there. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed, the view was fantastic of Mount Blanc and we enjoyed time on the balcony late afternoon. Spa facility was nice. Now - a warning. The hotel does not work directly with Agoda - and as such the room mapping is incorrect. Based on room description we were expecting a double room with Mont Blanc view, but the hotel had us confirmed in a triple room with side view (still Mountains, but city view + not Mont Blanc). They initially wanted to charge us for upgrading but as they weren't full did so without charge. They said this is a common problem, so if you are booking a basic room, without expecting view, it should be fine.

    Highly recommend everyone to stay in the Mont Blanc view room when visiting Chamonix. The view of the mountain from the balcony, especially from sunrise to sunset, is absolutely amazing. They also provide two hours of daily access to the spa facilities. The sauna and jacuzzi with the golden mountain view are worth every single cent! Thank you so much to Marie, Karla, and Tonie for helping us get our Mont Blanc room correctly booked. For those booking via Agoda, please double check directly with the hotel via email. Agoda's website can be misleading by stating 'Mont Blanc Room' while actually booking a city view with the hotel. We saw a couple of comments about this on the hotel's reviews, which is quite unfair to the hotel itself.
