    Stay away from this place! I booked this hotel during the height of the June 2026 heatwave to be able to sleep in air conditioning. The AC was weak at best but that’s not the problem. In the afternoon I offered an elderly friend the room to take a nap because he hadn’t been able to sleep all week. He left his hearing aids in a box next to the bed - I saw them later but didn’t know what the box was so I thought maybe it belonged to the room I just hadn’t noticed it before. In any event, we figured all this out only after I had checked out, and frantically called the hotel and asked them to please help us locate the hearing aids (which, it seems to go without saying, are important for my friend’s health AND extremely expensive). The hotel did not lift a finger to help us and shrugged off all responsibility - they told my friend to “call back” repeatedly because the staff “wasn’t there,” and just generally were unhelpful and rude. Even before this I had been feeling the hotel was not worth the price — AC was weak, there were cobwebs in the corners and a fly in the room. But most of all the attitude we received after such a sensitive item was left behind was beyond unpleasant. Did someone steal an elderly man’s hearing aids?! Seems likely. Even if not, best case scenario is they threw them in the trash and then took zero responsibility for any of it. Avoid this place, there are so many nicer places to stay in Paris.
