Cosmopolitan Guesthouse

*This cute guest house was for me a true find, at a more than reasonable cost. I absolutely loved it! *The cabanas are kept spotlessly clean, have really efficient AC, and a large wall mounted TV with lots of viewing options. *They are equipped with plentiful power points and storage, free reliable wi-fi, a good size fridge-freezer, a filter coffee machine with a generous supply of essentials to get you started, a practical fully stocked crockery and flatware caddy (brilliant for when you are using the communal cooking/kitchen area), very comfortable beds with quality bed linens including lovely pillows, and fresh white-as-white towels plus facecloths, which are changed daily. *When you stay at The Cosmopolitan it is a largely self sufficient stay, in that it is not a 'service' based accommodation - as there is no restaurant or bar etc. and therefore you do cater for yourself. *But there is a superb daily housekeeping service for the cabana you are staying in; and the small pool, outdoor social seating area, communal kitchen area, and grounds are beautifully kept. *It is located around a 40 minute walk from Hopkins Village, in a peaceful area, and has lots of very good restaurants all within a 10 to 15 minute walk, not to mention it has possibly the best fish restaurant in Hopkins situated right next door. *The beach (which by the way is as beautiful as a beach can get!) is a 3 to 5 minute walk away. *Peggy the proprietor/manager is the star of the show! She 100% goes over and above any expectations one might have, with her delightful quiet, kind, and calm manner, and will always do anything in her power to make your stay wonderfully welcoming, her attention to detail is obvious in all the little touches that she provides. I adored her, and from talking to people I met it was obvious that everyone in the village does too. *I highly recommend a stay here.

The guest house grounds were immaculate and inviting. Peggy was super kind and helpful. We had to book at the last minute and it all went off without a hitch. The guest house was very reasonably priced and was just across the street from the beach and from many good restaurants.

The bed was hard. Maybe a foam topper would be a good addition.

The place was very clean and rooms were exceptionally comfortable and beautiful.

I didn't like that we stayed only for one night. Everything was great there. Enough secured parking available. Great anemities available.

A very nice guesthouse. Clean, great facilities and a pleasant environment to relax in. Big rooms and good showers. Free bikes to borrow, handy for trips to the supermarket! Only a couple of minutes walk to access the beach.

Only reason I didn't score it 10 was because it's very expensive!

I liked everything about it

Our stay was lovely. The host is delightful and more than accommodating—friendly and happy to provide recommendations. We were traveling for work and had comfortable sleep and space for everyone included in our group. We were able to put our feet in the small pool. Water pressure was great. It is close to lots of things in the southern part of Hopkins, and a short (15 minute walk) or quick drive will get you into the main part of Hopkins for a delicious locally-made meal.

It was in a good location. Check I. Was quick and easy. The property was clean and inviting.

Our door handle and lock were loose.

Comfortable, friendly, relaxed. The pavilion in the front was a lovely place to sit and chat with my family

The only detractor was the pool was not up to par. They were waiting for maintenance.
