Convenient, easy and very nice stay

Our stay was lovely. The host is delightful and more than accommodating—friendly and happy to provide recommendations. We were traveling for work and had comfortable sleep and space for everyone included in our group. We were able to put our feet in the small pool. Water pressure was great. It is close to lots of things in the southern part of Hopkins, and a short (15 minute walk) or quick drive will get you into the main part of Hopkins for a delicious locally-made meal.

Pleasant Surprise in Hopkins

Nice location on the main road, an easy walk to the heart of town. Very cute boutique hotel with cabins and rooms. Nice common area with outdoor kitchen, sitting area and plunge pool. Peggy, the owner is a sweetheart and very helpful giving information about the area. We would definitely stay there again!

Easy check-in, friendly hosts, good location, clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor area. Rooms had good AC and it was great having the mini fridge and coffee maker.

The pool is smaller than it appears in the pictures and needs some TLC. The water was quite low, and that made it really warm. The cleaner was very friendly but woke us up to ask if we were checking out that day. She should know who is checking out to avoid disturbing people. A 'do not disturb' or 'no cleaning' sign for the door would be helpful.

This guest house is very cute, comfortable, and clean I would highly recommend a stay here.

Peggy was very pleasant and welcoming. The location is prime with impeccable surroundings but I recommend renting a golf cart if you want to go to the beach boardwalk for sightseeing and shopping. This location is 1.3 miles away from the strip. Taxi services becomes pricey or nonexistent. The beauty and cleanliness of The Cosmopolitan Guest House is worth the compromise though.

The pool did not meet my expectations. Online pictures did not come to reality. I would give 2.5 stars . It’s suitable for kids not for adults. The ocean beach front being 300 yards away made up for it.

Nicely maintained guesthouse with friendly staff! The location is good. It is across from Play Bar and next to a good Filipino restaurant (Bahay Fiesta). My room was spacious and clean. I would stay again and I recommend it when visiting Hopkins / Sittee River.

We liked our stay in the cabana

Check-in went smoothly and the woman helping us was very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean and perfect for a stay in Hopkins. The room a quite basic room, but it in line with expectation. For Hopkins I believe it’s of good value for the price. Didn’t use the facilities (shower/pool) due to short stay. Good location. Restaurants closeby in the street in walking distance. Beach closeby. Another plus: a lot of easily accessible power plug places. No bugs etc. seen during our stay.

Superb

We really enjoyed our stay in Hopkins at Cosmopolitan Guesthouse. It's a few minutes outside of the village in a very calm area, 2 minutes by foot to the beach. The rooms have everything you need and the host was very welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

Layedback chilled comfortable guesthouse.

We arrived in Hopkins out of season so quiet but chilled. Cosmopolitan Guesthouse is situated south of the village which is a 2 km walk or a free bike ride courtesy of cosmopolitan guesthouse who provided a number of bikes to choose from to suit everyone. Peggy, the owner, was quietly chilled, happy to help and was always available to answer questions. The guesthouse provides games, connect four, chess and board games to amuse children. There’s also a small pool. A short walk across from the guesthouse was the beach resorts that were welcoming to us and we eat, drank, and splashed in the sea. There was also restaurants within a few minutes. The Bahay Fiesta next door to cosmopolitan guesthouse was really good. My son said that the Pork Belly was the best he had ever eaten! A must is Oasis fitness for breakfast. Healthy, good and reasonably priced! There’s also a laundromat across the street but charged 17$ per load foe self service wash and dry clothes which I thought was expensive. I would recommend cosmopolitan Guesthouse if you visit Hopkins, Belize.

The distance from the main village might put people off but either a car or bike ride takes minutes!

Great bungalow and nice, close to beaches

The place was great ! Very good room, clean, well furnished, confortable... Very nice garden. Good location as it is close to the beach. Village is a bit far but so easy to reach by bicycle (even at night) and they have plenty to use for free. Very nice, welcoming and helpful hosts. I could only recommand

Very clean, the room is well equippped, the location is ideal for us. Friendly staff, pleasant public area.

The pool is tiny, really a plunge pool. The bed felt hard, and the night turned cold, so we ended up using towels as blankets. But this would not be a common Belize issue.
