    Big advantage of the hotel is located really near Dongmen Pedestrian Street, but its an old hotel, but fair enough with the price

    The reception wasn’t very friendly. I booked a non-smoking room but it smelled like someone had smoked. Once you opened the door you could smell the toilet – I don’t know which one because the one they gave me is next to the communal toilet. You could even hear people outside even with the door closed. To use the toilet you had to go to the shower room because it was separated. You could only use tissues there. No small fridge. The WiFi signal was a 4 bar but it didn’t work. The TV was also broken. The bed was very hard and I couldn’t sleep because my body ached whenever I moved. The location on the map pointed me to a different place than where we already arrived by taxi. However, it said it would take four more minutes. The hotel was very close to a market and store and just a 5-10 minute walk from Dongmen.
