    A great location in the center of it all at the Bund. It is a 10 minute walk from the Nanjing Road East stop on the Metro 2 or 10 lines (use the #2 exit). The Hotel has very kind and friendly staff, most (but not all) speak English. We loved our rather luxurious room, however it was designed for a couple with no modesty issues (we fit the bill). Breakfast was worth it. The majority of the selections were excellent Asian DimSum not Western. Again, we were happy with this but they still had fried eggs, toast, yogurt fresh fruit etc to keep westerners happy. There was plenty of tea, good coffee, but no cappuccino. There are fabulous restaurants and bars all a 5-15 minute walk away. Warning, the pedestrian street outside the hotel is surprisingly crowded on weekend afternnons and evenings. Anyhow we already booked our next stay.
