The Wyndham Grand Xi’an South is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a well-located, comfortable, and reliable stay in the city. Its biggest strength is the location — right next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and within walking distance of the Great Tang All Day Mall. You can step outside and immediately be in the heart of Xi’an’s most vibrant and atmospheric area, especially in the evening. The hotel itself is a classic five-star property, offering a more traditional and spacious feel rather than a trendy or boutique experience. Rooms are particularly impressive — large, very clean, and well laid out, making it easy to relax after a full day of sightseeing. Service is consistently attentive and professional, and everything runs smoothly, which adds to the overall sense of ease. The breakfast and dining options are also strong, with a wide selection that works well whether you want something quick or a more substantial start to the day. This is not a lifestyle or design-focused hotel, but it doesn’t try to be. Instead, it delivers exactly what it promises: comfort, space, and a seamless experience in a prime location. Overall, a very solid and dependable choice — particularly well suited for visitors who want to explore Xi’an while having a calm, high-quality base to return to.

We were upgraded to suite upon check in. Very big hotel in the very strategic location. Breakfast varieties is amazing, staff is polite. The big plus is their laundry room! Big and clean with cleaning staff round the clock! However, I want to point out that the hotel is very stingy with the soap shampoo and conditioner. They only provide one each everyday. Knowing that we have 3 adults in the room, I think they should have provided more. When I called to ask for more, they only gave us one extra and told us to call again if not enough. Other than that, the hotel is amazing

All staff are very friendly and patient to upgrade from 3 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms. Wide spread of breakfast and mainly local foods. The hotel is huge and spacious and located at the beginning of 大唐不夜城street. My family enjoyed the stay
