This was our third time staying here and this time was to celebrate my birthday and I was spoiled! The king suite in the Nanhai wing was so spacious, clean, and welcoming we wished we could have spent more time in it! Our favourite thing about this hotel is the buffet breakfast. It is absolutely delicious and worth including when you book. I’m not joking when I say, it’s 50% of the reason we choose this Hilton every time we visit Shekou! They also offer a free pick up from the ferry terminal which is such a bonus! The staff are all wonderfully nice, especially the buggy drivers that shuttle between the two wings. We live nanhai wing the most it has a more holiday feel to it but the wanghai wing rooms are also nice and have great views, but the hotel in general feels more business oriented. That being said, the leisure pool is at the wanghai wing and it’s very nice. The lifeguards are very attentive and are quick to stop any children misbehaving or people trying to swim in clothes or sandals. The gym and tennis courts are so nice as well, we used the gym every morning, and there’s a big soft play room for kids! One tiny “complaint” we have with the pool is the changing rooms aren’t very nice and don’t suit how vice the rest of the pool is. The people that tend the swimming pool “bar” can be difficult to communicate with without translation and it’s also a bit bizzare that only WeChat is a form of payment there (not even Alipay or charging to the room was allowed) so we couldn’t get any refreshments by the pool. Aside from that it’s such a great hotel and with the way we are treated, I can’t image staying anywhere else in shekou ever! P.s. if the woman who publicly yelled at and humiliated her 2 helpers at the breakfast buffet ever sees this- you are a vile, ugly, and shameless woman, and I hope they quit.

A wonderful stay at the new wing. The room was spacious and clean. Nice view too! A vast array of items at buffet. There were no expensive nor gourmet items but the quality was high and seating spacious. Had the best banana bread, just like the old days.
