    OMG the best decision ever to switch hotel to JI Hotel Zhaojiabang!! Room: i got a big room with window, king size bed, table with sofa and chair, a very big TV Toilet: Got a separate place to wash my hands with hand soap, separate toilet and big bathroom with soap and shampoo Amenities: Got tea bags, tea pot, tea cups on top of the table inside the room, daily 8 bottles of water, eye mask, diffuser, strong hair dryer, daily clean towel Location: few steps to Metro Station, McD, KFC, Mall with Restaurants - Cafe - Hair Salon - ALDI Supermarket, Manner Coffee and Paris Baguette, very close to convenience sore, drug store, milk tea store, and several restaurant Very close also to Xintiandi and all the hip places in Shanghai, just ride Metro - Didi - or by walk The staff also very helpful and i purchased JI Hotel hand soap to bring back home in short VERY RECOMMENDED hotel to stay while you are in Shanghai

    Everything was great except the temperature is controlled by the central AC. You can not adjust the temp in room. And it was so hot and stuffy. We even need a fan and open the window to get more wind. 🥹

    On arrival we were informed the room we had booked had "poor circulation". We were offered a tiny room, or an upgrade at cost. The tiny room didn't appeal. They only accepted WeChat pay, not Alipay, so we couldn't upgrade. So we stuck with the room. On closer inspection, we discovered that what they really meant by "poor circulation" was that the entire heating duct behind the wall had collapsed. It took 2 days to get the room up to temperature. To be fair to the staff, they added a keycard and left the heating on all the time. The first night was very cold though. After a long flight, I wasn't expecting a bait and switch due to decrepit facilities. Please fix the heating in that room.

    The only problem I had was the strong smell of cigarettes everyday although I have requested a non smocking room
