    I stayed at the Hanting Hotel across from Tee Mall Plaza, and the location couldn’t be better. You’ve got restaurants, shops, services, and entertainment all within a short walk — super convenient when you’re out exploring all day. The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise. There’s free coffee available 24/7 from a proper machine, plus washing and drying facilities you can use anytime, which is incredibly handy when travelling. The rooms are clean, and the bathroom setup is great — a separate shower with strong water pressure and a separate toilet, so no wet floors. Small detail, big comfort. One thing I really appreciated: you can leave the air‑con running while you’re out. Coming back to a cool room after a hot, sweaty day feels amazing. No standing there trying to cool down for ages. Breakfast is solid, and they even give you bags if you want to take food with you. Each guest gets two bottles of water in the room, and you can grab more from the front desk or the laundry/gym area — all free, no fuss, no extra charges. The only thing missing is a bar fridge, but that’s pretty standard in China now. Most hotels have removed them, and honestly, they rarely worked anyway. Just remember: like most hotels in China, prices skyrocket during major holiday periods. You may need to stay a little outside the popular areas if you want decent rates during those times. Overall, it’s a comfortable, convenient, easy place to stay — great value and a great location.

    Fourth time back, one of my fav hotels in Gz, right in middle of Tianhe. Be sure to check out the midnight food trucks, turn right when you exit hotel, walk towards end of road and you'll see them. There's an old man frying rice and noodles in front of you, lots of "wok hei" for only 15-20 RMB
