    Good hotel for corporate and business travel. Location is not too crowded considering the location is 15-30 minutes from the Huangpu River.

    This is my favourite hotel in Shanghai and I have stopped at this hotel for many years since it opened. Situated in Green City area it is good hotel to relax and lots of nice bars and restaurants near by. Just 15min taxi to central Pudong area, so if you like a quieter area to stay, away from busy centre this is ideal hotel. Also this hotel is much more modern then some of the hotels you find in the central area. Only suggestion from me is get thicker toilet paper!! Hotel has very thin sheets which seems very cheap type.

    This is one of my favourite hotels to stop in. It is immaculately kept, the staff are experienced and very friendly. The doorman is a Golden Key Hotel Concierge and has the badge to prove it! He is one of only 50 in China! That tells you something about the hotel. The ladies on reception at breakfast are great, always smiling and having fun. Even the cleaning teams give a positive impression and very polite. The rooms at the hotel are massive with a very large bed, sofa and the bathroom has a fantastic large shower room. All kept very clean and to a high standard. What has impressed me in the shower rooms is that 2 years ago I commented in a review that the drains in the shower always smelled bad . The hotel replied saying they would sort it and on my last three visits there is now no smell in the showers. That shows the hotel cares about customer feedback which is impressive. My only gripe on this visit was the thickness of the toilet paper which has become thinner over time. In the best hotels that don't skimp on getting good quality paper . This time at the Marriott because the paper was so thin I needed five to six strips. Come on you can do better than that! Spend a little bit more and get some better quality toilet paper.
