    We wanted to be in the same room and there are not a lot of 3 bed rooms in Shanghai. I booked a 4 star hotel at first and it was hideous and we moved the next day immediately and came here. We booked the executive suite with sofa bed. The sofa bed could have been more comfortable but otherwise everything was up to JW Marriott standard. There is a saying that China hotels are not very good at maintenance. But this hotel even thought you can feel it’s built for quite some time but then everything is still in good state and well maintained. Maybe with addition to the shock of the hideous hotel for the first night, I am very grateful that JW Marriott lived up to its stars and ratings and didn’t disappoint. Thanks ^_^

    The gym and swimming pool is in a separate building, long way to walk to. And the breakfast is not great, very few options
