    Amazing place in the perfect location. Middle of the city yet away from the hustle bustle. Clean rooms and the reception staff was very welcoming. Has a restaurant attached to the property so dinner time was very easy.

    Our stay at Montville Mountain Inn Resort was very disappointing due to poor management and a serious breach of privacy. After booking, we were advised we would need to change rooms partway through our stay because the room had been double-booked. While inconvenient, we agreed after being assured the process would be managed smoothly. The following morning, I spoke with reception and was approved for a late checkout so we could move directly into the new room without having to remove our belongings. When we returned to our room around mid-morning, we were shocked to find cleaners inside and all of our personal belongings had been packed up and moved by the manager without our knowledge or consent. No one had contacted us, and we had not authorised anyone to touch or move our belongings. Some of our items were also left behind in the original room, including my daughter’s photo and a phone charger, which were later brought to us by a cleaner. Management’s response was dismissive, and our concerns were not taken seriously when raised. This experience caused unnecessary stress and left us feeling violated during what was meant to be a relaxing family holiday. Unfortunately, due to the lack of professionalism and respect for guest privacy, we would not stay here again or recommend it.
