Stayed 1 night in a studio room, weather was shocking with a rain downpour this resulted in the bathroom flooding and unable to change rooms as was booked out, the floor was cleaned up but the next day after showering the light above the mirror didn't work, only 1 heat lamp worked and the hairdryer didn't work. It would also be nice to have a water glass in the room as opposed to 4 stemmed wine glasses.

We stayed in Ballarat for 2 weekends in a row and stayed here twice. Different rooms each stay. Rooms are well equipped and have everything you need. Walking distance to the theatre and restaurants we were attending while staying in Ballarat. Only thing to not is Saturday nights can be quite noisy with the patrons at the pub and local venues. We took ear plugs for our 2nd weekend and that fixed the noise issue.
Other then that we recommend this lovely hotel.

The room has nice furniture etc but not much seating space to eat meals or relax and watch tv.
Nighttime noise was a lot, loud music and people from nearby venues, I’m guessing the hotel is not soundproofed.
Bathroom has no storage at all for personal belongings and the door doesn’t offer much privacy.
It’s a beautiful hotel but glad to stay one night only.
