    I love coming to The Briars .. the quiet the calm, warm and inviting with the beautiful pond and trees to wake up too… a really lovely place to stay with a quick run into town for shopping etc… then back to the calm.. bliss

    Unfortunately we couldnt get a decent nights sleep at this location. They have flimsy doors adjacent to an event space as a result of which you can hear the noise from the event space, road and surrounds all night long, so you get no sleep from that. add insult to injury, our room was connect to the room next door and both sets of people were very loud. I also believe that their TV was right next to the door so again, we couldnt get any sleep. my partner ended up sleeping in the bathroom to try and get some rest. pretty sad and poor. other items of note are that the main entrance does not have any locks or chains for security. otherwise the setting is very pleasant, The staff are pleasant as well. and it could make for an excellent stay, its just that its much too noisy to sleep!
