I chose Rydges Mount Panorama because of its proximity to Charles Sturt University, which was convenient. Unfortunately, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The suite was very average and did not meet expectations. The room felt cold and uncomfortable, and the carpet was noticeably sticky.Despite the hotel having been renovated, it still feels quite dated and more like a motel or Airbnb than a modern hotel. The pool was out of service during our stay, which was disappointing. Staff also failed to follow a request that was made at the time of booking, and it was extremely difficult to contact the hotel by phone. Calls often went unanswered and return calls were not made. Housekeeping attention to detail was lacking, with only one towel provided for two guests. Dining at the restaurant downstairs was another letdown. The food was expensive for the quality provided, and we waited almost 45 minutes for dinner to arrive. When it finally came, it was very average and not worth the price. Overall, the location is the main positive. However, considering the service issues, outdated facilities, cleanliness concerns, and poor value for money, I would not choose to stay here again.
