    We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with water view for 3 nights. The complex has separate building with separate passes. There was a new system installed for accessing buildings and there was just too much confusion around passes and the staff at the reception were not friendly at all. We were unable to access our rooms when we first got there and my husband had to go down twice to sort out the passes. When he went down to sort it out, the staff were unfriendly about it and just assumed we didn’t know how to use the passes. Once we got into the room, the kids wanted to swim so off they went to access the pool which they couldn’t access due to different passes for pools. My husband went to the reception with both my little kids 4 times and everytime he was sent saying he is not using it right. Then I finally went to the reception demanding them to send someone with us to sort this out. They then send a newly joined employee to sort the issue out who barely knew much but was the friendliest. Then our room aircon was not working and we had to spend the evening with a fan as there were no other rooms available. We did get an upgrade to a 3 bedroom the next day but again the staff were not very friendly about it. We also joined the one hour Wyndham seminar and upon finishing up the seminar, we came up to receive our vouchers and again the staff at the reception treat us like we are thieves. The staff do not communicate between themselves and keep calling us for the same things. The location and the property facility is great but staff really need to change their attitude.

    Our favourite spot in Shoal Bay. Everything is walkable by foot - Mt Tomaree, the lovely disco at SBCC. Having a secure parking is a surprising bonus in that area, would be difficult without it. Room is good, only two negative remarks: 1. No hand-held shower hose. 2. Mattresses are too soft, even saggy. Beyond that - fantastic.

    The room facilities on the same class are vastly different. Its pot luck of you get a walk in showerand spa and a full kitchen vs a climb in shower over a mini 'whirlpool bath" and a toaster and kettle. Those that win the lottery get the jackpot. Those that don't pay the same for the view but significantly less facilities.
