    Hotel is of a good standard, all services were done well. It doesn't have numerous pools and restaurants like some other places but the ones it has are perfectly fine. We were especially pleased with the breakfast maitre'd who dealt with my son's egg allergy as if it was completely no bother.

    Unfortunately, my experience at Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort was not what I expected, especially considering the reputation and standards I associated with the hotel. There were some basic amenities missing from the room, such as complimentary bottled water, toothbrushes and toothpaste, which I would have expected to be provided for guests. Another disappointing aspect was the housekeeping. The cups we used for tea and coffee were not cleaned or replaced, which made the overall room service experience feel below standard. These may seem like small details, but they make a big difference to a guest's comfort and overall experience. The only real positive was the pool area, which was lovely and a great place to relax. However, unfortunately, that was the highlight of our stay. Overall, I expected a much better experience from Novotel and was left disappointed by the lack of basic amenities and attention to detail. I hope the hotel takes this feedback on board and improves its service for future guests.

    We have stayed here a few years ago, it feels like it is in need of some updating. Not enough pool lounges, beanbags need beans, only 1 lift working. If you want to drink at the pool bar bring your Cheque book, the drinks are very pricy and you struggle to get more than one drink during happy hour. I wouldn’t stay here again.
