Smart Apartments - Old Town & Main Train Station - by Upstairs

Nice small flat, very close to the main station and to the city center (15 min walk). The flat has all you need for few days staying, with microwave and fridge. Internet works fine so you can work from there as well.

The property is really well located, it’s not too close from the city, but it’s like a 20 minutes walk. Everything you need is in the property for cooking and others facilities.

The bed is really not comfortable so usually I’m not someone that way complaints about it but I think it’s might be a little bit old. I had some issues concerning the temperature of the water during shower time the temperature might go really warm and then we’ll go really cold without touching it, but I guess this is part of the deal since we’re in an old building.

The apartment had a great location, was very clean, and everything necessary for the stay was available inside. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow

Unfortunately, my stay was seriously affected by the electricity issues (no lights) during the entire evening. Because of this, I was unable to work properly, take a shower, or even relax and read a book. I was also disappointed that my phone calls were not answered despite having been given a contact number for assistance. Although I later received a callback (1+ hour later), the troubleshooting instructions were unclear and only took more of my time and energy. What upset me the most was the lack of a simple human apology. Throughout the situation, I felt as though I was being blamed for the electricity problem or for not being able to fix it myself. During the night there were also strange electrical interruptions, which made it difficult to sleep, so my first night was extremely stressful and exhausting. Additionally, there were issues with a clogged sink and confusing access to hot and cold water. Thankfully, the administrator’s willingness to help, good communication next morning and her agreement to refund the first night significantly improved the situation. Because of this, I was able to stay in the apartment for the remaining three days.
