About this house rental
There's no better way to enjoy an out-west adventure in Montana than to stay in " The Lookout" Cowboy Heaven Cabin. Enjoy excellent ski-in/ski-out to the Powder River ski run, accessing all of Big Sky's skiable terrain via the Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts. Return home from a great day on the slopes or a day exploring in Yellowstone and indulge yourself with the beverage of your choice while soaking in the spectacular mountain views from the private outdoor hot tub on the front porch.
The Lookout Cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, full bath, and flat screen TV. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with twin over queen beds and flat screen TV. There is a gas fireplace (stove) and large flat screen TV in living room. The full kitchen opens to the dining area and living room and is fully equipped with all appliances, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There is parking directly next to the cabin for our guests only.
In the winter, Big Sky Resort offers “The Biggest Skiing in America” for experts, kids, and everyone in between with 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet vertical drop, and average annual snowfall of 400+ inches. It's not just downhill that is superb, cross-country skiers are invited to the historic Lone Mountain Ranch, voted #1 Nordic Ski Resort in North America with over 85 kilometers of groomed trails through the wilderness. There are endless other winter activities including Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing or a relaxing day at the spa.
In the summer, you are just minutes from exceptional fly fishing, river rafting, golfing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ziplining and more. Plus, the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park is only about 45 minutes away while following the historic HWY 191 along the scenic Gallatin River. Don't miss the free concerts, farmer's markets, and weekly special events throughout the summer!

We had the most amazing time at this cabin during our four summer nights. We liked that it was away from the main resort, but still just a short drive to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and we had deer walking through early in the morning. The views from the porch and hot tub were amazing and hard to leave. We grilled dinner one night and had everything we needed. A couple windows and the fireplace could use some defogging, but everything felt and smelled clean. Luckily we didn't need the trundle bed because that looked like it hadn't been pulled out in awhile. There was some dust under there. Check-in and communication were easy and thorough.

The cabin location and Mountain View’s were fantastic. The cabin needs a deep cleaning. The bedrooms and bathrooms need a deep cleaning. Saw spiders and bugs on rugs daily. The fees for cleaning should be refunded because place seemed picked up but not really clean including the sheets.
