If you are looking for something in the area that it is located, yes it is a good stop. If you are looking for a home base to go and see multiple places north and south of there, I would recommend staying a night south and then head north toward west Yellowstone and stay til you have seen everything. The travel time to and from this location was a bit much for what we had planned during our trip. The furnishings are dated, but the bed slept really good.

Check in was easy and communication was good. The place was quirky, with lot's of character. It's surrounded by hay, so if you have allergies, you'll have issues. Lol I was miserable. (I don't blame the hosts for that!) The shower pressure was definitely lacking. Also know, that you are staying above their garage, so you hear the garage door go up and down quite a bit. The hosts are friendly, but I was walked in on while working. (They "thought we were gone." Not sure that makes it better?) That definitely left me feeling unsettled....
