Gite pour 2 personnes dans agréable maison d'hôtes

Es un edificio de principios de siglo, con mucho encanto de lo antiguo. Piscina preciosa en medio de árboles. Un hermoso lugar para disfrutar de paz y silencio .

The apartment is located in a huge old mansion with big surrounding garden. The building itself has huge potential but there are still some works around the house that need to be finished. The entrance to the building through the “back door” is a bit adventurous as you have to go through old barns with uneven surface and quite dark lighting. The pool is a real highlight of the chambres d’hotes. It is fairly new and well looked after and has a beautiful view on the house. The apartment as such has a lot of nostalgic charme; it comes with a kitchen, a bedroom and a little bathroom. Everything that you need is there, including a fridge and coffee maker. The owners are super nice and really care for their clients well-being.

There are three points: the terrace of the apartment is right at the entrance of the chambres d’hotes, so it is not really fit for sitting outside and reading something or having a snack as all other guests keep on walking past when going to dinner and breakfast etc. So you sit a bit exposed. Secondly, the apartmemnt is below the two guest-rooms and the floors are not very well insulated. So you can hear every footstep upstairs. During the day, not a problem but if you have guests who are up until 1am… And last but not least, it would be great to have clean coffee cups. I was a bit disgusted when i saw that both cups still had all the stains of coffee from the previous guests inside. Particularly in Covid times, this leaves a strange feeling and I am not sure anybody would love to drink out of these dirty cups…
