Ok for a budget short break

Lovely and cozy with the log fire.

We didn’t see a single sole the whole stay! We don’t mind that but if you needed anything during your stay. I’m not sure what you would do. The bed sheet was Bobby and looked about 10 years old. Very effortless to think it’s less than a tener for a new sheet.

Hot tub would not stay lit!!! 🔥

The bed was very comfortable and the property was close enough for exploring.

The hot tub is too difficult to use - we were unable to use it at all, which was very disappointing. Shower was cold 🥶 Wifi was poor - the TV kept cutting out whilst watching it. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great place to stay if you don't mind other people seeing you not great for a romantic getaway.

Very comfortable bed/hot tub was amazing when we eventually got it going.

No privacy over looked by over properties and cctv very remote with no shops or a way to get wood for the burner

My first break away for 10 years

The hut was perfect.fell and scraped my chin climbing the ladder, ladder moved when I was getting on the bed.no grips on the base of the ladder.Hut was perfect, it needs a latch on toilet door .Hot tub was wonderful it took 3and a half hours to heat only on the first night .. Lucky I took 2 big bags of logs. Privacy was a big issue, camara on the whole area and hot tub .no washing line to dry the towel s. We will be going back we enjoyed our stay ,camara was the biggest invasion of privacy for me but I will be making privacy for next time for our selfs.Lovely location but couldn't relax outside because of the camara just a shame

Great value for money!

Perfect as we went with another couple and the two pods are located next to one another which was great. Clean - very clean and tidy!

Shower in the Willow pod was cold, unable to shower one night due to the cold water. The hot tub took around 4-6 hours to get warm which was stated on the add however, needed many more logs than provided - so take a lot of extra logs/fire starters/lighters with you. Dog friendly - however, no gate to secure around the pod so very nervous with our pup getting out and going around the camp site. This would need to be added before booking again as having being to other properties which are dog friendly have this to make sure dogs are safe around the pod.

Parking to more clear You need plenty of wood to heat hotub and lodge, they said you could buy from reception but no one was ever there so had to travel a fair few times to get wood The shower to be warmer

it was a gorgeous relaxing stay, would definitely go again

it was private and cosy, lovely place to stay as a couple to unwind in the countryside

would have been helpful to know the hot tub was powered by the wood burner , took us a minute to figure it out 😂 and the amount we had to spend kn wood to keep the fire going to get the hot tub hot wasn’t ideal

Hot tub didn’t work, no hot water in shower, no view

The hut itself

Shower had no hot water. Didn’t shower the whole weekend. We bought 25£ worth of our own logs for the hot tub and it didn’t heat up. That was the reason we stayed there. Really disappointed

spent a fortune going to and from the garag to buy logs and l fire lighters to heat the hot tub and the fire inside as it was freezing cold and all they supplied was a bag of logs and nothing to help light them such as fire lighters. just a box of matches and a lighter.

Bed was very comfy Parking WiFi Having a TV with smart functions

Lack of storage Low pressure shower Shower temperature No guidance on use of hot tub (provide your own logs to keep it warm) Hot tub was stone cold when we first arrived (about 4 hours to heat) Lack of cooking equipment and utensils No guidance on where to park No specific dog friendly activities mentioned in the book No bin Lack of freezer space Doors didn't shut properly No way to hold the doors open, would swing close in the wind Wasn't much Privacy due to another hut being faced the same direction

Stay was enjoyable next it was central for my plans having stayed in this location before

it was central to my planed days of activities

The shower was badly dripping on entry and the water from the shower head had spread across the bathroom floor( no mop or clothes to clean up. door into bathroom DID not shut properly, fridge door did NOT close properly. other cup doors also badly fitted. In welcome pack NO contact phone number ( not good) would I stay again NO
