Well located. The Seaview bit is rather tenuous.

It is a self catering property. Location was convenient.

Given the three year out of date key code by Booking .com! This required a telephone call to the owner to obtain the correct number. The malfunctioning hot water supply to the bathroom wash basin. Hot water was provided by an 'instant' electric heater which repeatedly tripped out. This system was in a box with exposed live mains wiring an with an unsecured cover. So no hot water or a safe arrangement.

Lovely quiet location, loved the outdoor space. Nice comfy bed.

The property is old and needs some TLC. There was a leak under the sink and looks like a leak under the washing machine as the floor boards are wet. The property could do with a deep clean. A booklet with instructions how to access hot water in bathroom and sky TV would be useful.

We don't believe we got value for money but enjoyed holiday. Great location..property needs attentio

Self catering

Outside space looked neglected. Dead plant on window box and weeds around. Couch very lumpy and uncomfortable. Broken drawer in son's bedroom. Saniflow toilet unsanitary right next to kitchen. Going through main bedroom to modern toilet meant being disturbed in night by other guests. No indoor table to have meals.

Great location on the harbour.

Great location and the outside space is lovely. Have lunch overlooking the harbour, or a quiet evening drink.

Strange layout. You have to walk through both bedrooms to get to the bathroom. The twin bedroom is kind of a hallway? Bathroom could do with a refurb. Bedroom furniture ok but dated.

I payed over£1000 for this and not worth it.

Only the location

The place was grubby, poorly decorated and with a kitchen with little workspace and no table. The 2nd bedroom was a cramped box and windowless which had to be passed through in order to get to the main bedroom which was not en-suite as it was the only bathroom except for a cupboard with toilet which could have nothing flushed down it.

The location was a good base to explore from.

I did have an issue with hearing people walking about above whilst trying to sleep. The floorboards did creak a lot from above, and I thought someone had walked into the bedroom, I am a light sleeper.

Dirty accomodation

The apartment was extremely tired and grubby feeling, after 2 days we had to remove the rug from the living area as we realised it was this contributing to the rank smell of the apartment, we had to spray fabreze over the furnishings everyday. The toilet seat was broken and fitting too small, I also found previous occupants rubbish on the lower shelf of the bathroom unit. There was no hot water available from the bathroom sink.The drawers in the second bedroom were broken , the top 2 being unusable. The light switch in the main bedroom was filthy (I can send a picture if required). It was pointless having a bedside lamp on the left side of the bed in the main bedroom as there was no plug socket any where near. In addition the decking required attention as it was poorly finished and the grounds were messy. On the whole this apartment was not value for money at all and needed a good clean. Overall feedback dirty, tired and uncared for. I would like to raise this complaint officially and seek a partial refund .please advise. After seeing your response, I fail to understand how the property's age as got anything to do with the smell that this property had , the state of the decking this is not 200 years old , the light switch was thick in dirt , the draws that were brocken .rubbish left in apartment, none of these are down to a 200 year old listed building.

Very good

Great, quiet location next to the Harbour. Apartment was great for the two of us and our dog. The patio overlooking the harbour gave us privacy as needed and the ability to watch the world go by. Very well provisioned kitchen.

The two bedrooms adjoin and you have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the bathroom. Ok for a family but not for two couples, especially since the door between doesn't close properly. There were no instructions for the house. We never did figure out why we only got hot water for a short while in the morning. A few things need fixing. Doors between bedrooms and into bathroom don't close properly. The fridge freezer was frosted up. The sockets in the bedroom are hanging off the wall. The patio needs a check as the frame seemed a bit loose.

Exceptional

Perfect location, unique apartment, with parking and terrace overlooking the harbour. Comfortable and spacious. Would stay here again. Wish we had stayed longer.

Glad we took our own bedding as the supplied duvet was very thick and it was very hot when we stayed. The postcode in a sat nav takes you up the hill, so could do with mentioning in the directions.
