Old istrian house,free parking

The house is located in the centre of Galižana, a very old and small village. The village is peaceful and charming, and it is situated close to Pula (about a 10–15 minute drive). There is a Studenac grocery store in the village, while larger supermarkets and discount stores can easily be reached by car, either nearby or in Pula. There are also two petrol stations not far away. The apartment is cosy and well equipped. On the ground floor there is a bathroom, a spacious and well-stocked kitchen, and a living room with air conditioning and a TV. You can log in to your own streaming/VOD account or connect a laptop via HDMI and spend the evening comfortably watching a family series on the large sofa. Upstairs there are two comfortable bedrooms, perfect for a family of four. Above that there is also a small attic, which is not particularly useful for guests and seems to be more of the host’s private space — especially for someone who clearly loves music and playing instruments ;-) As for cooking, we had no problems using the gas stove, but if you are planning to do a lot of cooking, I would recommend bringing a small induction hob. The apartment also comes with a garden and a parking space, located almost directly opposite the front door of the house, on the other side of the small street (don’t look for a courtyard behind the house like we did ;-) ). The garden is a beautiful and cosy place to relax, with a barbecue available for preparing meals. We were very sorry that, unfortunately, we did not manage to make full use of it. The biggest challenge here is the parking space itself. It is located below street level, so it takes a little practice to drive down into it and back out again. Owners of cars with low ground clearance or very wide vehicles may have a serious problem here. A major advantage of this location for us was its proximity to many places and the freedom it gave us to explore southern Istria.

Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles was wir brauchten war vor Ort. Die Gegend ist sehr schön und die einheimischen Nachbarn waren auch sehr freundlich. Es lohnt sich definitiv dort Urlaub zu machen.

Das oben die Zimmer nicht Klimatisiert waren.

Cercavamo una casa tipica in un paese tranquillo e questa casa ci ha pienamente soddisfatti: la casa è arredata con vecchi mobili, ma nonostante questo è dotata di ogni confort e oggetto utile per viverci. La soffitta è stupenda e il giardino molto bello. A pochi passi dalla casa, inoltre, è possibile visitare una vecchia chiesa che vi verrà aperta da un custode molto gentile. I proprietari della casa sono delle persone stupende e di una gentilezza fuori dal comune. Il paese è un'oasi di pace, con un modellino in miniatura di Galižana.
