Casa di Monica

It was a very pleasant place, located almost at the top of the mountain. The three-storey house has an exceptional kitchen and plenty of spaces to relax, explore, or simply have a great time with friends. There is air conditioning in the top-floor room and a fan in every other room, so even the hot Italian summer is not a problem. The host was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. She also provides guests with a guide containing useful information, including addresses of nearby shops, places to visit, and other recommendations

The guidebook was slightly out of date. We went to look for a nearby restaurant recommended in it, but only discovered after arriving that the restaurant had permanently closed.

Situata in una posizione veramente strategica: a pochissima distanza (20/30 minuti max) da Orvieto, Bolsena, Sant'Angelo il paese delle fiabe, Civita di Bagnoregio, ecc... La tranquillità del luogo, con giardino e bbq a disposizione.

La casa necessità di qualche miglioria ed ammodernamento: bagni e letti in primis

We very much enjoyed our four-night stay at Casa di Monica. The house feels wonderfully authentic while also being comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. The location is extremely quiet and relaxing. Despite the cold and windy days, the house remained warm and cozy throughout our stay. Monica is a very accommodating host who clearly loves her house and its long family history.
