About this house rental
Be one of the first families to stay at our, new spacious beach house at Broadkill Beach! An inverted floor plan with main living areas on the top floor optimizes views of both the bay (just steps away on a private path) and views of Deep Hole creek (seen over the treetops in Primehook Wildlife Preserve). Kick back in our Great Room with large screen, hi-def smart TV and 300 mbps wi-fi. Ample sectional seating assures a relaxing retreat from the sun at the end of the day. The open kitchen and dining areas that flow out to both marsh-view and ocean-view screened in porches are a wonderful space for morning coffee or better yet, evening cocktails! Breathtaking views and seaside breezes abound with relaxation the first goal in mind. Dining and kitchen areas seat 14, sofa table for 3 (with USB ports) and yet another large table for 6 on the front screened-in porch. Plenty of room to spread out to bring all the kids and grandkids. Ceiling fans in all rooms.
A large elevator (3' x 5') is available from the ground floor up to all other levels. The house was designed to be handicapped/wheelchair friendly with 3' wide doorways, an accessible master bed/bathroom, and ramps over the porch doorway thresholds...and even access to the outdoor hot/cold shower to keep the sand to a minimum. We've added a bonus family room on the ground floor with another large-screened tv as a "get away from it all" room. Four adult bikes, five junior/kids bikes, beach chairs, kiddie pools, and two kayaks are available for your use. Parking for at least six cars, and the access path to the beach is just across from our driveway. Tax-free outlet shopping just down Highway Route 1 in Rehoboth. Quaint Milton is just a few miles away with great restaurants, shops, and pubs. Also, we're located just minutes away from DE Turf sports complex. Turnover day is Saturday in season with 7 night minimum rental (last week of May through end of August) Linens are NOT included, nor are towels. Spices and other condiments are included. Dogs allowed per Insured rental agreement. Please ASK!.

Beautiful house, had everything we needed, super close to the beach. The only reason I gave a 4 for cleanliness is there were a lot of spiders.

Osprey House was great for our purposes. 3 generations of family for a week. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. nicely furnished. Great porches, esp two screened porches. Broadkill is peaceful and quiet, but close to the boardwalk action of Rehobeth for those who want that. Private beach access is directly across the street. Milton is nearby for supplies. We mostly ate in, very comfortably.

This house is exactly as described! It fit our family of 13 perfectly! The access to the beach was directly across the road! Beautiful home and highly recommended!
