Cactus Cove Inn and Suites

We only stayed for the night, arrived late and left early, can’t comment on the facilities on site, but staff at reception was very friendly, beds were super comfortable. Lots of activities and entertainment for families with younger children

The receptionist was uninviting, once we started to check in the first said was: that will be *** fee since you live in town. The boutique was cute. The missing tile was not major trip hazard all over the place. The ac\heater is placed awkward, causing the air to build up in front of the bathroom, it did not spread thru room.

The atrium looks just like the pictures online. It feels very fancy, and my kids had so much fun feeding the fish, playing mini golf, going down the slide, jumping on the bounce house (6-8p, though they were on until 9 the evening we were there), playing on the playground, and swimming in the pool -the water was very warm, like a warm bath. The whole atrium space closes at 9p, which seems a little early. Quiet hours typically begin at 10 or 11p, so we were bummed that we didn’t have as much time to enjoy the space. The rooms were ok. It was obvious they were recently updated, but there is still chipping paint and rusty sprinkler systems. The towels are small (the pool towels especially), but the beds are comfortable and we slept well. Checkout wasn’t until 11a, so we did have time to enjoy the atrium in the morning before we left. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety, and there was a surprise guest, so that was fun. Overall we enjoyed the space and would stay there again on our next visit through.

The pictures do not look like the actual location. It’s VERY sketchy, unsafe, dirty and I’d never stay there again. I wouldn’t recommended to anyone. I’ve tried to load the photos of how dirty, old and outdated everything is. It keeps saying it cannot load photos. It’s bad. We had other guest stop us in the hallway asking if we felt like their truck would be broken into because he was a military worker and it looked so dangerous. Our room was on the back of the building, the only one they had but she said they don’t allow access into the back of the building, those doors are locked with no way to get back in. So clearly they’ve had issues in the past. She told us to park in the spots closest to the highway to be safest. It is next door to what looks like a condemned motel or a pay by the hour motel.
