About this apartment rental
Casa Tara is a beautiful one bedroom, two bathroom apartment. This little gem is situated on the prestigious Sunset Villas condominium, located next to the Vila Sol golf clubhouse and featuring a lovely communal pool facility and underground parking space. The real bonus of this property is the outdoor space, as the apartment has two extensive terraces- the lower main terrace situated next to the living room and a superb private roof terrace, furnished with sun loungers- perfect for sun worshippers! With wi-fi internet and air conditioning throughout, included in the rental rates.
LIVING AREAS
This first floor apartment is accessed via a flight of steps. Leading from the entrance hallway is the kitchen, fully equipped for self catering purposes and with appliances including a microwave, 4 x electric hobs, extractor, oven, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, juicer, fridge freezer and Dolce Gusto coffee maker. Fitted with double sinks and kitchen cupboard with integral drainer. Breakfast table with seating for 2 persons. Next to the kitchen is the separate utility with washing machine and clothes line for drying.
Spacious open plan living and dining room complete with dining table and 4 chairs, the sofa bed, split unit a/c, 32' flat screen TV DVD player, fibre optic broadband internet and a Bluetooth speaker so you can stream your favourite tunes from your smart device. Double patio doors, fitted with mosquito screens, lead directly to the main (lower) terrace. The living room patio doors, and the bedroom doors, are fitted with electric shutters.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
The master bedroom suite has a super king double bed that can be prepared as 2 x large twin beds upon prior request; central a/c with individual room control; patio door with mosquito screen to juliet balcony; dressing area; double wardrobes with safe and an en suite bathroom with bidet and large walk-in shower unit. The second guest bathroom is fitted with a shower unit.
OUTSIDE SPACE
Casa Tara benefits from fabulous private outdoor space on the terraces. The lower terrace leads directly from the living room and is furnished with a dining table and chairs, coffee table and chairs and 2 x sun loungers, and shade is provided by a manually operated awning.
Steps lead up from the lower terrace to the superb spacious and private roof terrace, which is a great feature of this lovely property and is furnished with sun loungers and table and chairs and has an exterior shower, perfect for cooling off during the hot Summer months. Guests can enjoy al-fresco meals freshly cooked on the gas BBQ.
Casa Tara is situated on the Sunset Villas condominium, which is a two minute walk to the Vila Sol club house and features a lovely communal pool area with a separate children's pool. The owners of Casa Tara provide 2 x transportable fold-up sun loungers for you to use by the pool. There is also 1 x floodlit Padel Court and an adjoining floodlit children’s play area with basketball hoop.
LOCATION
Alongside the golf course, Vila Sol also has restaurants, bars and cafes and the development is close to other restaurants, shops and supermarkets in the area. Browns gym is only 5 minutes drive away, which has full facilities and is often used by club and international sports teams. Daily or weekly memberships are available.
The famous marina of Vilamoura is less than a 10 minute drive away with its many shops, restaurants, bars, casino and beach club. Vilamoura offers a wide range of leisure and sports activities with its five golf courses, including the championship Victoria course, where the Portuguese Masters is held, a tennis club with 12 outdoor courts, a horse-riding centre as well as yachting and water-sports.

The apartment was ideal for our recent holiday. It was very clean and had all of the facilities you'd want from an apartment. Even though it was only 1 bed, it felt very spacious. The outdoor space was excellent and allowed for 9 people to comfortably enjoy a BBQ. The sun terrace was an added bonus. The correspondence with the rental company was excellent. Highly recommend this apartment.

We had a great time as a family. The property had so much outdoor space which was great and the apartment had everything that we needed. The communal area was kept clean and tidy and the kids loved the pool. Overall we had a wonderful trip and would certainly come back again.

To start: until 2 days before the retal there was no information on the exact location nor a contact number for the agency. We had to chase it. The codo is nice in a good location but the terraces and outdoor furniture were dirty. some deck chairs are broken, there are no pillows or sunbed covers. We were given exactly 1 large and 1 small towel per person and 1 kitchen towel. No towels for the extra bathroom, no extra bed linnens for two weeks. The only frying pan has a bent bottom.
