Very clean, well-equipped apartment with good shower and air con. The host drove for an hour to check me in and out on consecutive days
I had paid and received confirmation on booking.com for the one night i wanted to stay. Only when i phoned ahead to check something about my arrival time did the host tell me there was a 7 night minimum because he lived an hour's drive away. He did say he had sent both an SMS text message and a message on booking.com - I checked and had not received either of these. This would have left me without a bed for the night as all local accommodation was full as it was the last night of a festival. Credit to my host, when i explained my predicament he agreed to come and let me stay the one night. It seems strange that I had been allowed to book and pay for one night. Although his English was good, it was difficult to have the kind of conversation needed to get to the bottom of this, and I'm not saying its necessarily the fault of the host - the issue could be with booking.com
