Jishas Homestay Near Mall Road

It's a really cozy and clean space that's located quite close to the mall road. The two room set we booked was very spacious and can easily accocomodate 4-5 people. It was clean and well-maintained. The rooms were comfy and the hall and balcony provided cozy sitting spaces. Overall, a comfortable stay. The host and staff were super helpful and the home-cooked meals were simply delicious!

Reaching the property was a bit difficult though we arranged a taxi via the property. However, the staff helped by guiding the driver throughout. The stair shortcut to the mall road was a monkey hotspot and we got stuck twice. The longer route was far more convenient for hill novices. That said it is a bit of a steep walk and would be difficult unless you're used to hiking.

The hosts are exceptional, the homestay is exceptional! We had no trouble reaching there as the host/caretaker Gokul bhaiya took care of everything from sending a cab to being in touch with us every time we needed anything. The rooms were very well lit and perfectly cleaned. The Balcony was just perfect for a traveller! We absolutely loved the stay and hospitality. :) I would suggest to anyone who is in doubt whether to book it or not, just go for it! The location is perfect, 10mins walk from the Mall road and even Gokul bhaiya is there to assist you in booking a cab anytime and at the best price. Just go for it!
