Las Terrazas de Güeli 6 pax WiFi - GARAJE - Vistas - VUT-3391-AS

The flat is very well located, in the old town, by the harbour. There are many bars and restaurants nearby. The flat was clean and had almost everything you need (it didn’t have a kettle or teapot to make tea, only a coffee maker, which for British people would be a problem!). The flat was spacious enough for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). It has two balconies to sit and enjoy a glass of wine, that was really nice.

The entrance to the building might put people off. It y has graffiti all over but so assume there isn’t much you can do about it as all the buildings in the area did. This flat was at the top of the building after 3 flights of stairs so you need to know that it is a bit of a trek to get up there. It doesn’t have air conditioning but 3 fans of which one didn’t work. It was 30+ when we were there and it got pretty hot so I would recommend investing in an electric AC.

La ubicación es excelente a pocos metros del centro, cerca de la zona de bares y restaurantes y en plena zona de fiesta. El piso estaba limpio y las habitaciones son cómodas. Las terrazas son geniales y tienen vistas al puerto.

Excuse the long review but there are real caveats with this place. First – and this isn’t mentioned in the Booking blurb – the place is up three long flights of stairs and no elevator. If you have heart or respiratory issues or knee issues or…, give this place a pass. Second – the place is quite wonderful, fully equipped and two decks, one with a great view including a glimpse of the harbor. Third - the parking instructions are ridiculous. You get a video that was shot from a driver’s perspective then sped up so fast that if you can’t even hope to follow it in real time. I spent well over an hour with a Google map of the area and stopping and starting the video to try to find out where the parking actually is. The lot shows up clearly on Google maps once you zero in on the area. A couple of still photos showing where to stop to unload and which entrance to the parking lot to use would have been enough. It’s called Parking Cimadevilla on Google by the way. I should also mention that all the instructions, app links and video links come through Whatsapp which I have never used. It should be through Booking or direct email only. Fourth – the entrance exercise to get into the place on arrival is just nuts. You get sent a link with no instructions and then do the following: press 3rd floor doorbell. That triggers something somewhere that activates the program that the link takes you to which then unlocks the door, which is VERY heavy by the way. You then have to unlock a mechanical lock box which is not always easy to open once you’ve set the combination. You can then climb a long way up to the top floor. Fifth – you get a fuzzy image of a QR code which will give you access to the internet but that isn’t straight forward if you’re trying to connect a PC which I was. There is a board with a password written on it but I couldn’t get it to work. It wasn’t clear if it had a space in it or not but either way it wouldn’t work.
