Holiday House "Villa Ida"

Wonderful villa located on the Punta Braccetto cliff close to the beach (of very fine and golden sand), consisting of three independent apartments (with kitchen):

Our structure is located in a reserved place, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub and a few steps from the sea, to spend peaceful holidays in contact with the sea and the greenery;

The large verandas offer a breathtaking view overlooking the sea which is only a few meters away, and heavenly sunsets.

Legambiente and the Italian Touring Club have included Punta Braccetto beach among the best beaches in Italy and included in the "Blue Guide 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015 and 2016".

The golden and fine sand beach and the cliff can be reached directly from inside the villa through a private gate.

BACKGROUND OF THE AREA

Punta Braccetto, already inhabited in prehistoric times, was used by the Byzantines and Normans as a landing place to secure their ships. At the end of the so-called 'Braccio della Colombara', in 1595, the 'Torre Vigliena' was built, built between 1595 and 1607 to defend the coast frequently attacked by Saracen pirate ships. In the area of the 'Canalotti', characterized by high cliffs and deep seabed, the Allies landed in 1943.
