Extended Stay Cleaning: $300 required for stays longer than 28 days.

Guests have full, exclusive access to the entire cottage, including both bedrooms, kitchen, living areas, and private outdoor patio.
You will also enjoy full access to the shared community pool area.
Trash Service: Conveniently handled for you! Pickup is on Tuesdays. Please ensure all trash is bagged and placed in the outdoor bins. No need to roll the bins to the curb.
📱 Host Availability
We want your stay to be perfect. I am always available via text message or through the Vrbo app to answer questions, provide local recommendations, or assist with anything you need during your stay.
Please Note Regarding Cancellations: While we strictly honor refunds that fall within our standard cancellation policy window, please be advised that the non-refundable credit card processing/bank transaction fee will be deducted from the final refund total. These payment processing fees are kept by the financial institution and cannot be recovered.
Please respect the home and neighborhood by following these guidelines:

❌ No parties or events
❌ No unauthorized guests

Thermostat: Please keep it set to 74°F when you leave the house

First of all, the property is newly renovated and very nice. While not in the best neighborhood, it is walkable to the beach with a private pool shared by the other two units.
Check in was a nightmare. We received the code to access the property 4 minutes before check in. We were still two hours away because we didn't want to head there without the access code. We came to learn the host was travelling internationally and thus, unreachable during check in day. I spent the entire afternoon on the phone with VRBO about what we could do if we never got the sign in and how we couldn't reach the owner. We even began looking at other bookings. The code was to come 24 hours prior to check in but unsurprisingly, did not while the owner was in Europe. When I described to the owner the difficulties and stress it caused on check in day, I was told "technology doesn't always go as planned." A flippant response that is even more frustrating since this all could have been avoided by letting us know she would be unreachable and providing the access code to the local property manager (a very nice and helpful lady who we first learned about at 3:56 pm on check in day, just after getting our access code). There was no other communication from the owner during our stay following the check in debacle. Lastly, bring more toilet paper because you only get two rolls.
