Beautiful & cosy 4 bedroom home

It’s a very nice, well thought out and well appointed property.

This was a lovely cosy home to stay in for a couple of nights. Nice, tasteful and clean bedrooms. Good location for exploring the area.

Nice house, nice location, nice village, very good price. Could be great with a bit more effort from the host.

Key code had been changed and we had not been informed so getting in was problematic. Thankfully the host answered his phone and could tell us what the new code was, but as we had only been sent it that morning, it wasn't really good enough. That is the most basic requirement, to actually be able to get in! There were two bathrooms which was great but only one had a shower and that didn't work - the large head was broken and the small head was missing. Not nice for three people over two nights. The fire looked great but there were no firelighters or matches despite promises in the handbook. The host did drop off a lighter very quickly when asked which was helpful but we had not mentioned the lack of firelighters so we still could not progress. Someone who had stayed there before us had had a fire though and the ash was still there. Maybe they used it all up. The pipe carrying the toilet water and/or sink was leaking outside, next to the front door, and looking around the front of the property, it had been doing so for some time as there was evidence of some low level flooding. If we had all been having showers, who knows how bad that might have got? They could do with more crockery - we were considering a takeaway for instance but there weren't really enough plates for that for three of us. We might have liked some more scatter cushions in the living room so that it was easier to get up and down from the low sofas. There weren't enough handy charging points - the person who stayed in the top floor didn't have a socket by her bed for instance. Just not really quite good enough unfortunately
