Narcisa - Luxury 3BR Traditional House with Pool, Cinema & Hot Tub

This property was immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and exceptionally well-equipped, with very comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed being able to have a barbecue on the roof terrace, as well as being able to cool off in the pool.

The information regarding the additional cost for the air conditioning meter was somewhat hidden in the booking information. Having to find a minimum of €20 per day in €2 and €1 coins by using cash and receiving enough change in local shops and restaurants was a constant headache. The cost per kilowatt hour to run the air con appeared to be considerably higher than the price published online by the energy provider in Malta. Were it not for this, we would have given this excellent property a 10/10 rating.

Die Dachterrasse und die erste Etage sind sehr sehr schön. Der Pool ist auch prima. Das Erdgeschoss mit dem Betten ist relativ lieblos gestaltet.

Wir fanden es komisch, dass es keinerlei Infos gab. Während uns Aufenthalt waren in vielen Städten lokale feiern. Dazu gab es keinerlei Informationen. Auch gab es keine Informationen zur nächsten Lebensmittelläden oder irgendetwas persönliches. Besonders traurig fanden wir, dass in einem doch relativ hochpreisigen Ferienhaus an vielen Stellen wird noch ein paar Mark zu verdienen. Um die Klimaanlage einzuschalten, muss man ein und zwei Euro Stücke in eine kleine Box schmeißen. Bevor man abreißt, muss man irgendwelche Malta Tax bezahlen, was sonst immer der Vermieter übernimmt.Außerdem gibt es bevor man anreist einen seit langen Katalog mit möglichen Strafen für Fehlverhalten. Das ist wirklich nicht sehr willkommen heißend.

The farmhouse had a lovely ambience to it. My family enjoyed the theatre and the hot tub. The neighbourhood was great to walk around- interesting sounds from the surrounding properties…neighs, baas and meows! The house was exceptionally well equipped.

the stay was overall pleasant. Parking was always easy, the local town is just around the corner, and the best beach on Gozo is only about ten minutes away. The kitchen is decently equipped, the pool is small but perfectly fine for two adults to relax in (though not really for swimming), and the cinema and hot tub are a nice extra even if we didn’t use them much.

We booked this villa because many reviews praised its cleanliness, but unfortunately our experience was different. On arrival, the towels smelled strongly of damp and must, making them unusable. We tried washing them, only to find the washing machine itself smelled even worse of mould, so we ended up having to buy equipment and clean the machine first — not something you want to be doing on first holiday day. The kettle was rusty and needed scrubbing before use, and while the communal areas looked fine at first glance, there were balls of dust under the sofa, tables and stairs, and shiny surfaces as well as windows were streaky and spotted.
