Apusenia Caravan Escape Padiș - Glăvoi

The caravan is very cute and placed in a perfect spot in the Glavoi area. The hosts are very friendly and super helpful, they have a small business right next to the caravan where you can eat delicious food they prepare for you. The caravan is equipped with everything you need for your stay, is very clean and the view from the windows is absolutely amazing. We'll definitely go back one day ❤️

The van is very clean and well equipped, the host is a nice lady.

The host kept telling me that if i break anything i will have to pay for it, but for example it was very tricky to close the mosquito net and there were high chances to have it stuck or broken. The host is accomodating parties at the fire which is great. Live guitar music, good singing. But the party lasts until 4-5 am, people get drunk and talk loudly, vomit. So if the plan is to rest and hike, the day after the party energy levels will be low. They do not lower the volume even if asked by several persons even if the there should be some common sense rules with regards to noise in public spaces such as a camping area where people come with their families, small children etc...a closing time should be imposed by the host especially if the party is organized by some of the host's relatives.

The camper van is very cute and comfortable, it was extremely clean (if I could give more than 5 starts, I would). The owner’s mom was near by, helping us with every need of ours, she’s the most adorable, helpful and kind woman. Location is perfect.

The only minor minor detail that I could mention as a downside is the size of the van, but its really manageable.

The place is far in the mountains and far from civilization. It is nice, especially if you like traveling in nature. The hosts were very friendly and tried their best to make our time pleasant. The experience of sleeping in a Van in nature was very interesting and different and unique. Take the next things into account before ordering: 1. The road to this place is difficult and not paved in the last 2.5 KM - take it into account when you book, especially if the time of the year is a time when there is rain or snow. 2. There is only solar electricity in the place. The van doesn't have working charging stations (at least it didn't work when we stayed).

1. We had a problem with the hot water in the shower and the host couldn't solve this problem so we couldn't take shower during our stay. 2. The charges in the Van didn't work - we couldn't charge our phones and laptops. 3. I stayed in many places in Romania during my visit - I think compared to other places the price is overvalued for what you get.
