The ocean views were amazing, the house was always warm. I loved the kitchen window (at the hot plates) it was so nice to make a coffee with a view.

There wasn’t much in the yard to do. I would’ve liked an under cover clothes line. We stayed for a week and we had 1 tea towel and only 1 bin liner.

Cleanliness, location, overall comfort, cosy

May 2025. The place was super clean, neat and tidy. Beds were super comfy and the bedding was super warm which was amazing! Bedroom heating was definitely sufficient, and although we never needed any TV's, having one in every bedroom + the lounge would be excellent for those with kids on a family trip. Bathroom had a heated floor which was sooooo nice to have. Split system reverse cycle in the lounge was great, and I must add the kitchen bay window was great for lovely morning sun warmth in the mornings while making a cuppa and contemplating what activities to do for the day. House reno was done well and really lovely. We were lucky with morning sunshine to greet our day and the front verandah set up was beautiful for the morning coffee and breakfast to soak up the sun and get a vitamin D hit. Enjoyed being part of the local neighbourhood watching the daily dog walks and local folk in the area. Very relaxing. Loved our stay!!

Would suggest "urgently" putting a temperature restrictor on the hot water supply to the house, as it was VERY dangerous to manage with risk of severe burns every time we showered. Pretty minor; but overall, some of the kitchen fry pans could do with updating as they're a bit knackered, plus some extra staples like olive oil or a cheap block of cooking butter on arrival for basic cooking would be so beneficial. Some instant coffee back up recommendation as well. The coffee pods supplied are usually never enough because they're not cheap to supply, and that's fair enough - we get that. I've had other accom homes do this with these little extra's and a 'please replace if you use the last of it' policy clearly signed in the kitchen which works wonders in my experience. These items would take it from great to 'fantastic'.

Fantastic home. Perfect for an adult family of 6. So close to the beach. Walking distance to shops, pub etc
