A Hidden Gem in Ulcinj – La Mandarine Hotel is Pure Magic!
My stay at La Mandarine Hotel in Ulcinj was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and professional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my visit was perfect. The hotel itself is a beautiful blend of modern elegance and Mediterranean charm. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering a sense of peace and luxury. I especially loved the balcony view—sunsets over the Adriatic Sea were absolutely breathtaking. One of the highlights was the breakfast: fresh, delicious, and varied every morning, with local specialties and international options alike. Whether enjoying coffee by the pool or relaxing in the serene garden, every moment felt like a retreat from the everyday. I truly appreciated the hospitality, the attention to detail, and the calm atmosphere. La Mandarine is not just a hotel; it’s an experience. I cannot wait to return and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting the Montenegrin coast.

Perfect for relaxation
We really enjoyed our stay at La Mandarine. The property is extremely well maintained and of high quality. It was really nice to sit outside and enjoy the silent warm evenings. The pool is very clean and the sunbeds are comfy. The breakfast was super good - never had that good fried eggs! The breakfast included e.g. warm croissants, bread, bruschetta, pancakes, donuts, cheese, ham, eggs, tomatoes, mozzarella, greed salad, veggies, fruits, yoghurt, juice and excellent coffee prepared separately. The staff was super friendly! We arrived a bit early and the room was not ready and after a long trip we were hungry. It was easy to order food from the restaurant close by and enjoy it in the bar, the staff will help you to order. The bar was open until the evening and played nice music, not too loud. A car was a must for us to move around, we visited quite many places from the property. The traffic can be really slow so better not to have too tight schedule. Our gem in the area was found at Ada Bojana. In case we would be planning to re-visit this area, La Mandarine is absolutely our choice. Stayed in Dulcinium, a one-bedroom accommodation. There were also two villas with two bedrooms, which could also be very nice.
Nothing to point out - the staff knows how to create a perfect customer experience.

Island of peace, Caribbean feeling. 100% worth it!
“It was an island of peace — we didn’t even want to leave. It felt like being in the Caribbean: the lights, the atmosphere, the ambiance. Breakfast was excellent, and we got great tips from the owner. We absolutely loved these 4 days and will definitely come back.

Happy Customers at La Mandarine
Our whole experience was just great from start to finish. From helping with the luggage and where to visit. The fabulous breakfast, lovely pool, excellent staff and genuine kindness and thoughtful acts for us and others during our visit. The visit was topped by it being a family run and the attention to detail in the rooms, breakfast area and pool area.

La Mandarine is a unique place where we relaxed like never before during our few days of stay. The facility is modern, very clean and well-kept. The garden furniture are so comfortable that we did not need to leave the hotel at all. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. The owners are very nice and helpful. All staff is very kind. I will recommend The Mandarine to demanding customers who want to feel exclusive and have a good relaxation.
