About this cabin rental
If you’re looking for a private camp-like feel with your family &/or friends, this is it! Privacy, gorgeous sunset views, peace & solitude to unwind and rejuvenate your soul. Main cabin has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4 - one king bdrm, 1 queen bdrm), 1 bath, the bunkhouse sleeps 7 and “love shack” sleeps up to 4. There is also an outhouse which comes in handy with large groups. Leader Lake is a quiet, 171 acre sandy, fully recreational lake. We have a private boat launch.
Great location! Less than 10 minutes to Minong, 35 minutes to beautiful Hayward and an hours drive to Duluth. And with miles & miles of trails, we are in the heart of ATV country.

The cabin is perfect blend of modern convenience while still having an “up north” rustic vibe. The bunkhouse is spacious and comfortable. The lake is clear and clean.

We loved our stay! We had 10 people and easily could have comfortably slept more than that. The kids loved having the bunkhouse as their own space (so did the parents!). The cabin was comfortable and well stocked - including all the water toys that kept everyone entertained (a lily pad, paddle boards, paddle boat, etc.). We didn't have to go anywhere once we were there but it was an easy drive into Hayward for dinner one night. We enjoyed quiet mornings on the deck watching the hummingbirds and night swims while having campfires in the fire pit. Would definitely recommend!

We highly recommend this VRBO! The property is truly a slice of heaven. Our group consisted of 6 adults and 6 children from 5 - 15 years old. The bunkhouse was a huge hit with the kids! There are lots of water toys for kids and adults and the beach was clean and sandy. The firepit area was a favorite spot to sit and listen to the loons and watch the amazing sunsets. The owner is very responsive and accommodating, in fact, the best we have experienced in the VRBO world so far! We will be back!

Owners were GREAT to communicate with! This cabin is on a beautiful property surrounded by gargantuan old pine trees on a small quiet private lake. Watching the beautiful sunsets over the lake each night from the huge deck, listening to the loons go crazy, and having bonfires under the stars each night were a hilight. The kids loved the shallow shoreline to play in, the retro ATARI game system in the cabin, and the air conditioned bunk house behind the main cabin was a perfect hangout for them. Nice paddleboards, tons of floating devices, a paddleboat and canoe were provided. The cabin was maybe around a half hour to Hayward, so we did some mini golf and went out to eat one night. Otherwise the long dining room table accommodated our 10 person family for all of our other meals. We'd for sure book this place again.
