About this cottage rental
Sleeps up to 10-12 with bunkhouse during summer months. Located in the heart of Nova Scotia's Ocean Playground. 10 min. walk to beautiful beaches of Green Bay. Enjoy the solitude and privacy of our 5 acre nature retreat, surrounded by forest/wildlife. Rissers Beach is only 5min.drive up the road. Crescent beach is close by with its marsh for bird watching. Great neighborhood for walking and biking. Quiet and safe. Enjoy some of the best bakeries and cafes Nova Scotia has to offer in this area. LaHave Bakery. Ploughmans Lunch. Rose Bay General Store and Cafe has all day breakfast.Plus the excellent Petite Rivieres General Store is just down the road and there’s the Ospreys Nest pub for great food, live music and you can walk home if you need to(-:

We absolutely loved this charming cottage. Minga was a super host. Check-in was smooth and communication was easy. Appreciated the amenities and didn't feel like anything was missing. We will recommend this to friends and family and very much hope to be able to stay here again next year.

We found this cottage to be very charming and homey. The view of the deer in the morning out of our bedroom windows and then in the front of the cottage reaching up to eat the apples from the tree was delightful. It was wonderful to hear the ocean from the cottage. Thus, we felt very much at home. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Just a warning to others, please do not drive at night as deer are everywhere and one hit my car the night we arrived which was the only damper to our trip.

We really enjoyed our stay, the hosts provided clear directions as Google doesn't get it right and recommendations for places to see and eat. The property is lovely with wildflowers and the sound of birds, we regularly saw deer wandering through and a hummingbird visiting every afternoon. The beach with a great ice cream stand is just a short stroll away. The house is perfectly arranged for a family to visit and very quiet. The surrounding area offers lots of things to do and see.
