The property was just as pictured. I am familiar with the area so knew where it was generally located already. The river view is literally unbeatable. We loved it so so much and all girls said we would separately rent it again with our families or come back often for more girls weekends. It convenient to whatever you want to do in Townsend and again, the river being right there is priceless.

The location on the river in the mountains is amazing. The cabin is newly remodeled and very nice. It was clean on arrival & there were no immediate issues. However, night one we saw a mouse. Given the rural location & traps in place we thought it was an isolated incident. However the longer we stayed the more apparent it become they currently have a real issue with rodents. Hopefully they can resolve this, and then it would be a great place. Do note that while the parking lot is flat (no crazy mountain driveway) it is in a curve of the road which makes backing no fun. Also there is very little space to walk a dog (the owner communicated this to us). But even our little dog we ended up driving to the near by park. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy most of the outside areas which are probably the best feature. We did notice the fire pit is right next to the neighbors driveway. If they back in the bumper is feet from the fire pit. Also beds are nice, good pillows, lots of large quality towels. Really if the mice were gone it would be 4.5 place.
