Saint Mandrier ist ein kleiner Fischerort mit großem Jachthafen. Er hat zwei kleine Strände, nette Restaurants, Einkaufsläden und ist sehr ruhig und familienfreundlich. Die Wohnung ist recht groß und gut ausgestattet.
Die Wohnung ist direkt neben einem Militärgebiet. Man kann das Meer sehen - was man aber direkt sieht, ist ein großes, vor sich hin rostendes Kriegsschiff. In der Gegend gibt es weitere Militärgebiete, die natürlich alle nicht betreten werden dürfen. Saint Mandrier liegt am Ende eine Landzunge. Der Weg dorthin führt über viele kleine Straßen und dauert lange. Es gibt zumindest in der Hauptsaison kaum freie Parkplätze in der Nähe der Wohnung.
