Disappointing

The location was great, very close to town and the beach.

The shower was despicable. Only scolding hot (arguably unsafe) or cold with no real mixing for a controlled temperature. This was largely irrelevant given there was absolutely no pressure and only a trickle of water in the prime times (morning or later afternoon, evenng) - we had to wash our hair in the sink. We reported this to the host who said it was an "island problem" which was refuted by other locals of Naxos. We had two apartments, same issues in both. The host is clearly aware of the issues but have not addressed them, very disappointing. I would not recommend staying here unless the shower issues have been fixed.

The rooms were very noisy, noise comes from the corridor, people (other guests and staff) are quite loud on the corridor, and there is hardly any sound-isolation in the rooms.

Beautiful and convenient location, slightly disappointing property

Well located - stones throw from the beach. Absolutely beautiful beach and right by the bus station. Cleaned daily. Friendly cleaner. Air con worked well and big and comfy bed.

Poorly thought out design - eg. small cooking hob but no place to eat the food other than sitting on the floor or bed + bathroom flooded whole room whenever you used the shower (into the bedroom). Not soundproofed properly - we could hear whenever people walked up and down the stairs or had any conversations + the noise from the outside was loud. Unclean plates in the cupboards on arrival. There was also no reception onsite which made check in difficult as we had to wait around til someone showed up.

First my key card didn’t work in the electrical mechanism when I arrived. Then power went out on the last night. (I know it’s not fault of the property, but they could maybe have a backup if such things happen on the island). I also think the room could be a bit more cozy. it was clean, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable, there was not enough extra blanket (because we had a couple of colder days. I had to wait and ask the cleaning lady.

Best thing about the property is the location. It is 50m from the beach as well as restaurants, bars, cafes. Unfortunately that's about as good as it gets!

Rooms are outdated- don't be fooled by the pictures (which were probably touched up). Furniture is old, shower has no curtain and water sprays everywhere. The cleaning lady was told about this but nothing was done, I even doubt she communicated this to Stelios. Or maybe Stelios knows this but doesn't do anything about it. At best this is like a hostel - tiny bathroom, outdated furniture, very tiny balcony. The price is however 5 times that of a hostel! How on earth it previously received good reviews is beyond me!

Όλα ήταν πραγματικά τέλεια! Το προσωπικό ήταν πάρα πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό, πάντα πρόθυμο να μας βοηθήσει και να μας προτείνει όμορφα μέρη να επισκεφτούμε. Το κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο, άνετο και προσεγμένο σε κάθε λεπτομέρεια. Η τοποθεσία ιδανική, κοντά σε ό,τι χρειάζεσαι. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα και σίγουρα θα το ξαναπροτιμήσουμε!

Το μόνο μικρό αρνητικό ήταν η ηχομόνωση, που θα μπορούσε να είναι καλύτερη.

Très mal isolé, manquement de matériel.

La proximité avec le centre (restaurants, plages, super market…) mais si vous voulez avoir des plages sans personnes ce n’est pas ici qu’il faut venir. Le ménage et le lit est faut tout les jours.

On a été réveillé tous les matins par les portes du couloirs qui claquent et les femmes de ménage ! Aucune isolation, on entendais également notre voisin ronfler. Lors de notre arrivée, il manquait une ampoule dans la salle de bain, l’étendoir à linge était cassé, la poignée de tiroir se retirait… Je l’ai signalé et cela a été réparé. Sinon une odeur affreuse ne partait pas de la salle de bain… Lorsque nous faisons sécher notre linge l’eau qui s’écoutait stagnait au sol et ne sortait pas par la trape à eau sur la terrasse. Le frizer ne glaçait rien. Les photos avec penderie / dressing de la chambre ne ressemble absolument pas à ce que nous avons eu. Les oreillers étaient dur comme de la pierre.
