    Our booking was for 1 queen bed and 1 double bed room, but we were given a room with kind bed and single bed, and we were told this is the best option they've, but the room was very clean, and the view was great, it was rover view. Breakfast was poor, and we had to wait in queue to get our coffee in the morning as it is not readily available. Restaurant Staff was kind even but lack experience.

    I had booked two rooms at the Golden Tulip Hotel, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The rooms were extremely small — there was barely enough space to move around. There wasn’t even space to stand comfortably in front of the mirror. There was no dressing table or any surface to place personal items, and no wardrobe — just a few hangers hanging openly in the hallway. There were no shelves or storage space for clothes. A bad smell was constantly coming from the bathroom. There were no basic amenities such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, or other toiletries — only a bar of soap, which was already opened as if someone had used it before. There was no comb near the hair dryer, no phone guide, and no information booklet or brochure in the room. There wasn’t even a small refrigerator. This was especially disappointing because we hadn’t booked standard rooms — we had paid extra for a Superior Twin Bed Room and a Superior Queen Bed Room. Breakfast was very poor and limited. The main hot dishes included scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages (which tasted awful), porridge, and rice. There were also some cold cuts, sour cream, cottage cheese, vegetables, and a few pastries, but the pancakes were cold and there was no any kind of spread. We arrived for breakfast at 10:30 (breakfast time was 7:00–11:00), but the staff didn’t greet us at all. They seemed cold and unwelcoming, and within minutes they started clearing things away. By 10:45 we felt very uncomfortable, as if they were waiting for us to leave so they could finish cleaning up. When we checked in at 3:00 PM, it was my sister’s birthday. We had brought a cake and champagne with us and had to give them to reception to store in the fridge, as there was no fridge in the room. Later, when we went up to the terrace to take photos, neither at the reception nor in the restaurant did anyone congratulate her or offer even a small gesture. I had booked the Superior Queen Bed Room for a young married couple, and I felt quite embarrassed in front of them, as they also shared the same disappointment with all the points mentioned above. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay. This hotel did not meet the expectations or the standards associated with the Golden Tulip brand.
